This gorgeous antique Turkish silk Sivas kilim is a striking example of Anatolian flatweave artistry, celebrated for its bold tribal patterns and harmonious geometry. Woven with a soft yet durable silk blend, the kilim features a rhythmic layout of large hexagonal medallions in alternating hues of ivory, deep grey, rust red, and camel brown.

Each medallion contains a central stylised motif reminiscent of snowflakes or stars, symbolising protection and balance. The field is segmented by intricate horizontal bands filled with small diamonds, hooks, and cross motifs, rendered in earthy reds, blues, and neutrals, lending both movement and symmetry.

The borders are richly decorated with a repeating diamond motif, creating a visual frame that accentuates the central design.
